Before going to sleeping meditation, I want you to understood meditation.


many of us already know about this, ” like seating in position with a straight back and focusing on the breath is meditation”. 


I understand why you thought like that, 


It’s not your fault, it is our society or our environment has that made us like that.


I know you have lots of misconceptions about this, but don’t worry I’ll clear it for you.


Meditation is the awareness of body, mind, and soul.


Let’s do some practical experiments.


Inhale and exhale for 2 minutes as the longer breath you can take, try this for some while.


Keep in mind don’t force your self to take long breath keep it natural.


Common do that “breath in” “breath out” “breath in” “breath out”


How did you feel?


I know it’s more relaxed and calm you also get aware of your body. 


This is what meditation is, the whole concept of meditation can be expressed in terms of “awareness”.


 


Well, lots of researches already held in previous decades on meditation.


Now scientists can tell us how it works


Incredibly, the only human being can differentiate between thought and emotions.


And because of this, we appear different in this animal Kingdom, that why humans are ruling on this planet.


Our hole body works according to the brain if it’s not, then we are useless on this planet.


Scientists had proved that our brain has the limitless capability, it can do anything, which is beyond our thoughts.


It’s a non-stop thinking machine, it gets started even when we are not born. 


Our brain has divided into three parts.


The conscious mind is our reasonable mind it helps us in daily activities like thinking, working, etc.


The subconscious mind cames after the conscious mind it doesn’t have any limit or limitless our bodywork function is controlled by it.


Consciousconsus mind came after the subconscious mind it is further beyond us and has no limit.


Our whole life depends on two things first is our thoughts and second is our action we take action according to our thoughts,


If we can control our subconscious mind than we can do anything in life through our actions



Let’s took the example of a person who is suffering from anxiety and depression.


How many of you know where the anxiety and depression come from?


It is not like any disease instead it’s just our thoughts that stuck in our head or some negative emotions that are coming in our mind again and again


Which causes some emotional pain and the root of anxiety and depression.


It’s all our thoughts that make us happy or sad.


so how can we cure our self of this problem,


In this situation, if we force our self to be happy or act like happy then we become happy



Because it doesn’t differentiate what is real or fake


It is caused because we are not aware of our thoughts or what is going inside our mind,


And this is what meditation helping us


Sleeping meditation or (yoga Nidra)


In Indian culture, it is known by the term “yoga Nidra” 


Yoga means work or doing something and Nidra means sleep



While practicing yoga Nidra we force our body to sleep but our mind is still awake


Let me explain the process of Yoga Nidra


Firstly lay down in a comfortable position on a flat surface keeping palm faces upward



And relaxing the whole body parts one by one


When you lay down on the surface start focusing on breath this will keep your mind relax and quite.


When it gets relax take your sense to your left foot and relax it and same as rights foot


Relax your West your stomach, heart, lung, chest, back, shoulder.


Your left hand and right, your throat, face, hair, cheeks, lips forehead.


And at last your mind.


and again focus on your breath 


“Now it’s time to affirmation. “


You can say anything you want


“I am so happy and grateful now that every time I’m becoming more and more successful in life and achieving my goals and dreams because the whole universe is my teacher it shows me the right path and I am doing my best”


 While doing this you have felt that your body is relaxing, and the universe is giving you more and more energy


You have to feel like your body is getting relaxed you got enough sleep for your body

Teaching kids to sleep meditation


Well don’t force your kids to do this firstly tell them through great stories and gradually emphasize them to do, tell them the importance of that that 


If you are using a mobile phone or some other gadget then I’ll don’t prefer you, it can make addiction to your child to use Gadget, you can start with it, instead, you can guide to your child this is great for both of you, it is really good for your kids to do sleeping meditation with you.
